- Andrew Fedder Added April 15, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★My family is new to the area, and we are so happy to have found Meat 2 Eat. We come from the US and I am still learning Romanian but the staff is very friendly and it has been fun learning meat related vocabulary with them.
Some have noted that the prices are high, and some items are indeed expensive. At Christmas I longingly looked at the Wagyu, it was very very expensive but it’s Wagyu of course it’s going to be costly. It is not something I could afford but there were cuts of beef in many price ranges. We settled on two delicious dry aged steaks for my wife and I and some regular steaks for our five children. So far all the items my family has bought in the last 4 months have been of very high quality and we were happy at the price for the quality. We have purchased ground beef, pork and beef roasts, beef steak, pork cutlets, sausages and chicken.
I would also like to comment on their marinated pulpa de pui. They are amazing! My children beg me some days to walk to Meat 2 Eat so we can have the green marinated chicken for dinner. - Anca Burdea Added April 10, 2023★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I bought quite a few items from here. The beef was pricy but ok. The two ladies that sell here are certainly not professional butchers and have no clue about cuts of beef. They tried to sell me on a piece of filet mignon cut laterally and tenderized :). The reason why I am giving them 2 starts is due to the lebar and cartabos that i bought for Christmas. They were clearly spoiled. We could have gotten very sick. Bought the products on the 22nd tasted them that day and threw them right away.
